// RESIDUAL MEMORY
The project focuses on the ‘Terrain vague’, marginal, semi-abandoned spaces in or along the edge of the city. The specific locale of the Former Edwin and Davey Flour Mill, Sydney is architecturally interrogated.

The new architectural insertion is articulated through an arrangement of repetitive elements that form a duality of platforms that wrap around the brickwork remnant. The aesthetic of the design inherently considers preliminary studies of junk piles where the proliferation of residual material becomes monumental in its sheer mass.
